Luna Estate Pinot Noir 2019

Introductory offer – 5 dozen plus 1 dozen free = $14.83, valid for September.

6+1 dozen buy ongoing from 1st October = $15.26 LUC

Crafted from fruit grown in both vineyards, with a majority harvested from younger vines of the clay/limestone Blue Rock vineyard.  Fully destemmed, 15-30 days maceration, 10 months in French oak, 10% new.  Minimally fined and gently filtered, with no animal products used.

“Dark cherry, spice, dried roses, and a bitter chocolate/tamarind sort of savoury element. It’s medium-bodied, quite dense and dark and concentrated, again that bitter chocolate and dried herb theme lends complexity, along with white pepper tannin, and a spicy finish of good length. It’s a nice wine. Kind of meaty, but fresh, and leans more to an ‘adult’ flavour profile than many others at this price point.”
